John Wilkes Booth: A Portrait

A photo of John Wilkes Booth, taken circa 1865 by Alexander Gardner. 1865 was the last year of Booth's life: he shot President Abraham Lincoln on April 14th, and died 12 days later when Union troops caught up with him in Virginia and shot him to death.
