David Duchovny

From 1993 to 2001, David Duchovny starred in TV's The X-Files as Fox Mulder, an oddball F.B.I. agent obsessed with government conspiracies and paranormal happenings. The show was a ratings success and a pop culture benchmark, and it made stars out of Duchovny and his co-star, Gillian Anderson). He went on to play Mulder in The X-Files: The Movie (1998) and star in the romantic comedies Return to Me (2000) and Trust the Man (2006, with Eva Mendes). Duchovny also had a small but memorable role in the Ben Stiller comedy Zoolander (2001). He returned to series television in 2007, as the star (and executive producer) of the cable show Californication).Extra credit: Showtime cable television subscribers also know Duchovny for his appearances throughout the '90s in sexy series The Red Shoe Diaries... In 1997 Duchovny married actress Téa Leoni... Duchovny graduated from Yale University with a degree in English Literature... He had a recurring role in the David Lynch TV series Twin Peaks.
