Emm Gryner
Singer / Songwriter
Emm Gryner was called a "Toronto indie goddess" by IndieVoice magazine in 2001. A folk and rock prodigy, she has performed at Sarah McLachlan's Lilith Fair and sung backup for David Bowie. She is the founder of her own record label, Dead Daisy Records. Her albums include Public (1998, with the hit single "Summerlong"), Dead Relatives (2000) and Girl Versions (2001). The latter album includes her popular acoustic cover of Def Leppard's tune "Pour Some Sugar on Me." She is sometimes compared with fellow Canadians Nelly Furtado and Alanis Morissette.Four Good Links
