The event was held to unveil Donald Trump's new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This was during Donald Trump's run playing the intimidating boss-man on the TV series The Apprentice, and almost exactly a decade before he was inaugurated in a bigger reality role, that of the 45th president of the United States.
