Facts about Ben Shapiro
Ben Shapiro Biography
Ben Shapiro is an American media celebrity famous online for his blunt arguments in favor of conservative politics.
Popular with the right for his tell-it-like-it-is pronouncements, Shapiro is perhaps more popular with the left as a steady spring of mock-worthy comments.
A graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (2004) and Harvard Law School (2007), Shapiro has been writing books and syndicated columns since he was in college.
His staccato, rapid-fire delivery and sarcastic barbs made him a viewer favorite on political talk shows.
Shapiro is known for arguing that liberal policies dominate academic and entertainment circles, and that American conservative viewpoints are routinely silenced. In 2017 Shapiro hit the big time by being the object of a protest by college kids who didn’t want him to speak on campus.
He’s published more than half a dozen books, appears regularly on television and radio, hosts a popular podcast and runs the conservative website The Daily Wire. He even has a catchphrase: “Facts don’t care about your feelings!”
Shapiro’s books include Porn Generation: How Social Liberalism is Corrupting Our Future (2005), Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How the Left Took Over Your TV (2011) and Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences America (2013).
