Facts about Chris Pratt
Chris Pratt Biography
Actor Chris Pratt is famous for his supporting role in the TV comedy Parks and Recreation, and for his leading role in the movies Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World.
Pratt grew up mostly in Washington state, and had years of odd jobs before getting his first acting role in 2000.
By 2002 he was cast in a supporting role in the television series Everwood. After four seasons on that show, he landed a small role in The O.C.‘s fourth season, but TV viewers got to know him as Andy, the guileless and goofy boyfriend of April (Aubrey Plaza) in Parks and Recreation.
After 2009, Pratt has carried that comedic role while pursuing a film career, appearing in supporting roles in dramas such as Moneyball (2011, starring Brad Pitt), Zero Dark Thirty (2012, starring Jessica Chastain) and Her (2013, starring Joaquin Phoenix).
Since then, Pratt has been all beefcake and bon mots as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014, with Zoe Saldana) and its sequels (2017 and 2023), as well as Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Pratt has also served as the everyman hero (with muscles and mirth) in Jurassic World (2015), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) and Jurassic World: Dominion (2022).
