Debra Messing wears zebra stripes

Actress Debra Messing arrives for the Broadway opening night of the musical Peter and the Starcatcher at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in New York City. That's where Broadway is, after all. The date was April 15, 2012. Messing wears a zebra-striped top, if zebras had horizontal stripes. Well, zebras do have horizontal stripes, on their hindquarters and legs, but mainly they have vertical stripes up and down their rib cage and torso and neck. On the face, to be honest, the stripes kind of go all ways. We're not questioning the legitimacy of Debra Messing's stripes, that has never been the issue. Just saying that most of the stripes go up and down. To be perfectly accurate, the caption should read "Debra Messing wears an outfit that is striped like a zebra's backside," but that would just be rude.
