Ernest Hemingway’s granddaughter, Mariel Hemingway

Mariel Hemingway, the granddaughter of celebrated author Ernest Hemingway, is seen here in the 1983 film Star 80. She was playing Playboy bunny Dorothy Stratten, who later appeared in Playboy magazine and was named the magazine's Playmate of the Year in 1980. Mariel Hemingway's father was Jack Hemingway, the only child Ernest Hemingway and his first wife Hadley Richardson. Jack Hemingway appeared as "Bumby" in Hemingway's 1964 book A Moveable Feast, a memoir of the author's years in Paris.
