The statue of Martin Luther King, Jr. (and its sculptor)

The statue of Martin Luther King, Jr. is seen here at his memorial on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The sculptor, Lei Yixin, stands in the foreground. The sculpture (and the memorial) was unveiled in 2011. The National Park Service has this description on its website: "Master Lei Yixin, Sculptor of Record, a national treasure of China, crafted the portrait of Martin Luther King, Jr. from a unique white granite with color inclusions, found only in China."
