Facts about Olivia Munn
Olivia Munn Biography
Olivia Munn began hosting Attack of the Show! in 2006 and has since carved out a niche as a sexy “geek” girl with a penchant for crude language and low humor and an actress who pops up in small roles all over the place.
She grew up in Oklahoma and Japan, and she began her career as a model. She had early breaks in cable television, including a recurring role in the TV series Beyond the Break (2006-07), but most of her fans and fame came from her fast-talking commentary on entertainment technology on the G4 channel’s Attack of the Show!.
Her success there led to a career that puts her somewhere between Jenny McCarthy and Sarah Silverman — a hot babe in a bikini who can crack crude jokes just like one of the guys.
She made her feature film debut in Big Stan (2007), and has since appeared in several films, including Date Night (2009, starring Tina Fey and Steve Carell), Iron Man 2 (2009, starring Robert Downey, Jr.), X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) and Ocean’s Eight (2018).
From 2010 t0 2012 she was on The Daily Show as a sometime “correspondent,” and her television credits include The Newsroom (2012-14), Miles From Tomorrowland (2015-17) and Six (2018)
