Paul Allen’s yacht, the Octopus

Octopus, the yacht of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, is seen here anchored off the coast of Cannes, France on May 11, 2011. The yacht was 414 feet long (about 126 meters), making it in its day one of the world's larger superyachts. The yacht had 23 bedrooms and 44 bathrooms, two bowling alleys (regular and candlepin), a sumo dohyō, a 4000-seat theater for modern dance performances, and a 200-foot-long main hall where Allen displayed his collection of 497 of Jimi Hendrix's old guitars. (Editor's note: none of that last sentence is true. It was just a regular superyacht.)
