Robert Frost

A portrait of the poet as a young man: Robert Frost sometime between 1910 and 1920. One might guess that the photos was taken after 1915, when Frost returned to the United States from England after the success of his poetry books 'A Boy's Will' (1913) and 'North of Boston' (1914).

Original photo by the New York World-Telegram, now in the collection of the U.S. Library of Congress, Prints and Photographs Division. LOC digital ID: cph 3c16102
