Santa Claus in ‘Miracle on 34th Street’

The actor Edmund Gwenn played Kris Kringle -- better known as Santa Claus, let's face it -- in the 1947 movie Miracle on 34th Street. The film was directed by George Seaton and co-starred a very young and solemn-faced Natalie Wood.
