The Spice Girls promote Pepsi

The Spice Girls pose for photographers at a subtle promotion for Pepsi Cola on May 4, 1997. This was at the Cafe De Paris in London, England. (Ginger Spice had not yet learned to turn the product logo toward the camera.) Spice Girls producer Simon Fuller later said that Pepsi spent $100 million on this global promotional campaign, which included cans and bottles with images of the Spice Girls.

The members of the group are, from left: Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice, or Mel C), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice, or Mel B), and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice).
