Name at birth: John Ellis Bush, Jr.

John Ellis Bush, Jr. is the son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. Sometimes known as Jeb Junior or “Jebby,” he is also the nephew of former President George W. Bush and the grandson of former president George Herbert Walker Bush.

John E. Bush, Jr. was born in 1983 to Jeb Bush and his Mexican-born wife, Columba. He is the youngest of three children: his brother George was born in 1976 and his sister Noelle was born in 1977. Jeb Bush first made news on 16 September 2005, when he was charged with public drunkenness and resisting arrest by police in Austin, Texas while his father was governor and his uncle was president.

Jebby Bush attended the University of Texas and later earned an MBA from Florida International University.  His LinkedIn page lists him as a partner in the consulting firm Jeb Bush & Associates (beginning in 2008) and a partner in Bush Realty (beginning in 2009). In 2014 he became a managing partner of Bush Ventures, a “venture capital and management-consulting firm that actively seeks start-up and other proprietary investment opportunities.”

Bush, Jr. married the former Sandra Mary Algudady on May 29, 2010. Their daughter, Georgia Helena Walker Bush, was born in 2011; another daughter, Vivian Alexandra Columba Bush, was born in 2014… Jebby Bush was not the first Bush relative to have trouble with the law while his father and uncle were in office. His sister Noelle was arrested for prescription drug fraud in 2002 and later sentenced to 10 days in jail after she was found in possession of cocaine. His cousins Jenna and Barbara Bush were cited for underage drinking in 2001.
