Photos ( See all 26 )A specialist at playing charming twits and rogues, Grant became an international star in the 1994 comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral. His other films include Sense and Sensibility (1995, with Kate Winslet), the pregnancy comedy Nine Months (1996, with Julianne Moore), the romance Notting Hill (1999, with Julia Roberts), Bridget Jones's Diary (2001, with Renee Zellweger), About a Boy (2002, starring Rachel Weisz and based on the book by Nick Hornby) and American Dreamz (2006, with Mandy Moore).
Extra credit: Grant made tabloid news in 1995, when he was arrested after being found in a car with a Hollywood prostitute named Divine Brown; he eventually pled no contest and paid a fine... Grant's long-running romance with model Elizabeth Hurley ended in 2000, but they remained partners in a production company, Simian Films... In April of 2007 Grant was in trouble with the law again after hurling a container of baked beans at a photographer; no charges were filed.
