Donald Trump’s Children: An Easy Guide

  • (Photo: WENN. Note: Two of these people are grandchildren, not children.)

President Donald Trump has five children by his three wives, and with his inauguration as president on January 20th, we’ve been seeing more questions about the Trump kids. Here’s a guide to Donald Trump’s children in the order of their birth.

Donald Trump, Jr. is President Trump’s oldest son. He’s his first of three children with his first wife, Ivana Trump; Donald Sr. and Ivana were married from 1977 until their divorce in 1992.

(Marital turnabout is fair play where Ivana is concerned: Donald was her second husband and she’s been married and divorced twice more since then.)

Donald Trump, Jr. was born in 1977 and so will turn 40 this year. He married model Vanessa Kay Haydon in 2005 and they have five children, ranging in age from 4 (son Spencer, born in 2012) to age 9 (daughter Kai, born in 2007).

Ivanka Trump is the second child of Donald and Ivana Trump; she was born on October 30, 1981, and so turns 36 this year.

Along with being an executive vice president in her father’s company, the Trump Organization, she created her own line of jewelry, the Ivanka Trump Collection.

Ivanka Trump married her husband, real estate developer Jared Kushner, in 2009. Like Ivanka, he has become an important advisor to Donald Trump, and in fact was named to Trump’s White House staff after his election. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have three children: daughter Arabella Kushner (b. 2011), son Joseph Kushner (b. 2013) and son Theodore Kushner (b. 2016).

Eric Trump is the youngest child of Donald and Ivana Trump. He was born on January 6, 1984, and so has already turned 33 this year.

Like Donald, Jr. and Ivanka, Eric Trump has been an executive vice president in the Trump Organization. He is pictured above with his wife, the former Lara Yunaska. They were married in 2014 and as yet have no children. [2017 update: Lara and Eric Trump had a son, also named Eric and nicknamed “Luke,” on September 12, 2017.]

Tiffany Trump is a half-sister to Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump. She is the only child from Donald Trump’s relationship with Marla Maples, which began while he was still married to Ivana; Tiffany Trump was born in October of 1993 and her parents were married two months later.

Tiffany grew up in California with her mom (Maples and Trump were divorced in 1999) and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania last year with a double major in urban affairs and sociology.

Barron Trump is Donald Trump’s youngest child, and his only child with his third wife, Melania Trump. Barron Trump was born in 2006, a year after his parents were married; Donald Trump was 59 and Melania Trump was 35 when Barron was born. Barron is said to be attending Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in Manhattan, and he turns 11 this year.
