The Wall Street Journal has ’em. Number 10, when asked last year if a Google brain implant was being developed:
“Google policy is to get right up to the creepy line but not cross it. I would argue that implanting things in your brain is beyond the creepy line. At least for the moment, until the technology gets better.”
Eric Schmidt is stepping down as CEO of Google, to be replaced by co-founder Larry Page. Schmidt says he’s staying on as Executive Chairman, but analysts seem divided on whether it’s truly a clarification of roles or Schmidt being eased out.
