Mary Lou Retton is 40
Mary Lou Retton turns 40 today.She was the first woman to appear on the front of a Wheaties box, says the cereal's fun facts page. It happened in 1984.
Babe Didrikson was the first woman athlete to appear on the package -- in 1935.
