Angelina and Brad PHOTOS Over Time

Call them Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, or call them (shudder) Brangelina: the actors have been an item (though they’ve never married) since they met on the set of the 2005 film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. 

Here are photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt over the years.

2005: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith.  They played rival secret agents who were unwittingly married.  The pair fell in love while filming the movie; Pitt then split with his wife Jennifer Aniston.  (Credit: Stephen Vaughn / SMPSP)

2005: The tabloids weigh in. The cover of American gossip magazine Star on May 9th.   Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were divorced that same year. 

2006: Scary. Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Las Vegas unveils Brangelina wax figures. Their first child together, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, was born the same year. (Credit: Judy Eddy)

2007: Jolie and Pitt arrive at the premiere of her film Beowulf on November 11th in London’s Leicester Square.

2008: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (with actor Jack Black, right) at a showing of the film Kung Fu Panda at the Cannes Film Festival. The date is May 15th, and Jolie is pregnant with twins Knox and Vivienne, who were born on July 12th.

2009: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arrive at the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on 25 January 2009.  The tattoo on Jolie’s left shoulder blade is reportedly a Buddhist incantation, written in the Khmer script of Cambodia. (Credit: Jody Cortes)

2009: Brangelina looking formal at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on May 20th.  They were at the festival in support of Pitt’s film Inglourious Basterds.
