She’s the winningest female ski champ in American history, as it happens. She just won back-to-back overall World Cup Championships in 2008 and 2009, and she’s leading the World Cup standings this year, too.
A nasty injury known as shin bang has Vonn questionable for this year’s Olympics. But it seems likely she’ll rally for action.
