Hollywood Insider reported this week on plans to make a movie based on the Rubik’s Cube, the puzzle toy created by Hungarian designer Erno Rubik in 1974.
Sure, there are board games based on movies, but movies based on board games and puzzles?
Sure! Remember Tim Curry in 1985’s Clue? That’s not all, word has it there are several movies in development based on board games.
Still, a Rubik’s Cube isn’t exactly a board game.
Remember Barbara Stanwyck in 1959’s Slinky? Of course not, nobody does.
