A Few Interesting Links

I will be gone for a few days, so I’ll leave you with some cool links:

Letters of Note — I’d steal something from this every day, if it weren’t so uncool to do that.

Another great site to visit is from the U.S. National Archives, their Today’s Document from the National Archives. Always something interesting there.

For old-school-underground-altculture-type stuff, you should visit UbuWeb. They have a great archive of obscure audio and video from people like Gertrude Stein, Andy Warhol and John Cage. You know the kind I’m talking about.

Here’s a stab from the past: that “Beat Boxing Bush” video — it’s still awesome, and a nice complement to the former president’s book tour. Plus, there’s a new Obama Beat Boxing video to go along with it.

Do you like retro-fashion of the 1960s and all its grooviness? Try Farbror Sid.

Or what about Iconic Photos? Plenty of great historical stuff there.

Of course, LIFE is always reliable.

That’s just a few.
