Princess Charlotte of Cornwall and Cambridge Biography
Princess Charlotte of Corwall and Cambridge was born on May 2, 2015 and given the full name of Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. (According to CNN, the middle names… hark to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and her paternal grandmother, Princess Diana, who died in 1997. Charlotte, a feminine form of Charles, is likely a nod to her grandfather, King Charles III.)
The official announcement posted at Buckingham Palace read, “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8:36 am today.” The royal family announced after the birth that the girl’s official title would be Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
When Elizabeth II died in September of 2022, Charlotte earned a new title and a new spot in succession.
She also has a younger brother, Prince Louis, born in 2018.
